Rice is a good idea too. But it requires more cooking and stirring than I’m willing to do. I steam or bake potatoes. Laziest cook ever, but in perfect health. So far.

There are over 3000+ different varieties of potatoes grown in Peru. Here in the states we see less than a dozen different kinds sold in the stores.

From what I’ve read over the years it is possible to get a complete nutritionally balanced meal simply by eating various varieties of the Peruvian potato stock.

You can carry a 50 pound bag of potatoes up and down a couple of flights of stairs for an hour every day to lose weight.

1 baked potato takes maybe 7 minutes in the microwave.
Add some butter and green onion... hmm do not care about a diet : )
