NOT the point at all.
With the camel’s nose having been cheered into the tent. and the whole beast well on its way in, I join in hoping to see otherwise totally normal people fully exploiting the corporate embrace of this madness for personal gain.
Companies who indulge the “woke” need to feel the pain.
So, if some guy says, “Well, crap — if I just tell them I’m a woman I can get half off my car insurance” — it’s a brave new woke world, and if his conscience doesn’t bother him, let ‘er rip.
This is bending companies fully over the barrel they’ve chosen to embrace; bringing the full weight of consequence to bear upon them.
Is the guy out-and-out LYING to get a reduced insurance rate?
Oh, Hell yeah, he’s barefaced lying, but who’s gonna call him on it in this present environment?
You wanna be the hapless schmuck who draws the short straw to go question the guy’s gender identity, and risk a lawsuit?
NOT GONNA HAPPEN.
So, in my book, it’s the savvy customer for the win, and let it RAIN! They’ve sown the wind; let them reap the tornado!

I wonder, how many parents with a safe male driver and a safe female driver in their family, and they are facing double insurance rates for their male driver versus his sister’s rates, are saying to hell with it.
He is now a she.
You can't say that. There is no definitive requirements for what constitutes "being a woman." His definition (Whatever it is!) is as legit as anyone else's. (Under their rules...)
