No cable for 20+ years. Off-air TV...mostly MeTV, and DVDs, mostly purchased at pawn shops.

How much money do you figure you saved over 20 years — 240 months or so — by cutting the cord?

I was checking out DVDs from the local libraries. Then everything shut down and they wouldn’t even accept returns at the library. They told me to wait until the restrictions were lifted.

Several months later after the restrictions appeared to be lifted, I tried to renew my library card because I lost it. They said I owed more than $300 in fines. I told them what I just told you. I returned all the videos but the fines are still on my record.

Moral of the story: Be careful of bullshiite. It’s everywhere.
