We spent most of the time inland, climbed some pyramids and saw many great jungle birds. There were a couple of lagoons south of Cancun where we spent a couple of days snorkeling. It was amazing.
We went to Chichen Itza which was pretty cool. I was saddened by how poorly they maintain the grounds around these masterpieces. Lots of trash and junk floating in any body of water. :(
