But we never actually had it. It was an illusion. Corruption and brutality go back to the beginning of every police force in this country. You pick the time when you think we had a thin blue line, then go looking up brutality and corruption cases. Guarantee there were a bunch. The thin blue line was ALWAYS a lie, and lie told to enable their BS.

Same here. Everything changed for me when they went from Peace Officers to Kapo. I think the big change was when the patriot act was passed. Psychologically every civilian became a possible jihadi terrorist.
