Like the Germans in ww2 - they will say they are just doing their job. I am afraid the police much like the FBI are not the ones we grew up with.
Oh the FBI is the same. From Hoover on they have had the boots of oppression on our necks.
They have always spied on us. Which makes it kinda hilarious when people are shocked to hear that they spied on a sitting President. It is their protocol and nature.
Most people who work for the government cherish their job security, benefits and pensions.
After awhile, they view what’s good for the government is good for them.
This makes them very ‘pliable’. And quite frankly, dangerous to a free society.
I am afraid the police much like the FBI are not the ones we grew up with.
