I watched the full press conference that he held yesterday. I find it really hard to believe that someone who was willing to engage in this sort of action didn’t plan in advance to make sure he had money taken out of his accounts and set aside because that’s just what you do. I personally am not planning to engage in any protests at the time but I even have different types of funding available. I keep extra cash in a safe and I have other ways of storing money that is outside of any bank. Sure they’d be able to take a lot of stuff such as savings and cash that I keep in those accounts to pay bills and they would be able to take my my 401(k) plan but I would at least be able to feed myself and my family for the next 3 to 6 months. If nothing else you go to a CVS or a Walgreens and buy a bunch of gift cards and keep them. Go to the Shell station or a Circle K and buy their gift cards to make sure you are able to put gas in your car. Pay cash for those gift cards so they can’t trace them. Store them in the safe; they don’t expire.
They’ve done such a great job with this convoy protest that I find it really hard to believe they didn’t take Monetary seizure into account. So maybe he’s just saying that for the benefit of the media.
