Barter is a great currency, and the government can’t touch that. Though as we get old, we can’t do a lot of things for our neighbors like we can when we were young. I don’t plan on digging any ditches for anybody, but I can still pull a wire or two, cook a pot of chili, or do some basic yard work.

I have a skill that’s always in demand. I can make bread on a large scale and have the tools to do so. And I reckon I could still dig a ditch if’n I had to.
