Yes. And I think they can be intimidated when they’re off their own turf, even when Master is there.

I’ve had cats who would stand for treatment from the vet that they’d never take from us at home.

(But with cats, many times they’re already demoralized by the car ride to the vet in the first place.)

Because the cat knows that the vet has no sympathy for the wriggling and acting like they’re about to die when you cut their nails!! At least, my vet doesn’t. Should note that he’s treats the big cats at the local zoos. lol

Sometimes I think the cat’s sense of hearing is in 3 dimensions, possibly many more. How else can they hear a mouse in the wall when the tv is blaring? It’s beyond my imagination to see the world through their senses.
