It is odd...now no one can do banking online with these banks. I wonder if people can go in and do banking in person?

I hadn’t thought of that . . . but my own un-informed guess is that if online banking is a no-go, then in-person banking may be the same.

What happens with automatic payments or check payments? do they go through or is that stopped also? If bills go unpaid then that meat in the fridge will go bad...

This is such a mess. Prayers for the people affected.

At least two of the banks’ web sites have been up since 5:30 EST. I was able to access my accounts at CIBC and Scotiabank. Royal Bank is still down.
