It’s true.
And this is just over the border from Detroit.
It’s south to Canada.
I see what you did there. Winning post of the evening.
I’m thinking there’s an increasing probability of a general strike, starting with the Canadian truckers and spreading to the US. Still a ways off, but now a possibility.
Glad to oblige. It is a great post. Very happy you agree.
:-)
I was thinking similar...stop all trucks...see how they like it.
Ok, fine, don’t block the roads. Instead, just park your truck somewhere legal, lock the doors, and leave. Let’s see how long ANY nation can last if half or more of the truckers decide to go on strike.
Fury is merely pointing this out. All we do is angrily blog and expect others to take positions of actual risk. I am a bit ashamed of you, metmom.
Thank you. You get it.
It must have been a decent comment. It seems to have triggered a lil’ Karen on here. A badge of honor as far as I’m concerned. 😁
note the exploitation of the children - both as potential vaxxed and potential victims of the protestors! FakeNewsMSM:
PICS: 12 Feb: news.com.au: Incredible scenes as anti-vaccine mandate protestors swarm Canberra streets
Prime Minister Scott Morrison has issued an urgent plea as thousands of anti-vaccine protestors take to the streets of Canberra.
by Emily Cosenza
Scott Morrison has urged anti-vaccine mandate protesters in Canberra to be “peaceful” and “respectful” amid concerns a mass vaccination clinic running a children’s event could be targeted on Saturday.
Ralliers have gathered in the ACT for almost two weeks to predominantly protest vaccination mandates
Protesters’ main focus on Saturday has been at Parliament House where thousands of people have arrived after a march kicked off at about 10am.
There were suggestions a vaccine hub at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Arena could be targeted.
ACT Police warned locals that rallying was expected to continue throughout the day, as authorities prepared for ***“Superhero Day” at the AIS to be disrupted.
The dress up event ***is targeted at children aged five to 11 to “channel their inner superpowers” and make the experience of lining up for their first jab more enjoyable***.
“ACT Policing would like to reassure all of Canberra’s young superheroes, and anyone attending the AIS Arena mass vaccination clinic (on Saturday), that they will be able to do so safely,” ACT Police said.
“There will be a police presence with a zero-tolerance approach to anyone who seeks to intimidate or harass those attending the clinic.”...
“I want to be very clear when it comes to the issue of acting mandates, the Commonwealth government have only ever supported mandates that relate to aged care workers, disability workers and that those that are working in high-risk situations in health system,” (the Prime Minister) told the reporters in Sydney on Saturday.
“My government has only ever supported mandates that have been recommended right across the country by the medical expert panel and our chief medical officers.
“All other mandates that relate to vaccines have been imposed unilaterally by state governments.”...
The Capital Regional Farmers Market was also cancelled due to safety concerns and logistics for customers.
“It is a devastating result for our farmers and producers following on from the last two years,” the market’s social media post read.
ACT Police Commander of Operations Linda Champion on Friday said authorities were monitoring the demonstrators after suggestions the protest would be brought to AIS Arena.
“We don’t want to be too present in the face of children but we’ll certainly be there behind the scenes if we need to,” she said.
“We don’t anticipate anything unlawful going on but we (will be) there in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety of all parents and children turning up to the clinic.
“What we don‘t want to do is interrupt the safety or security of our children, nor intimidate them with large numbers. We’ll do it peacefully.”...

Minnesotans and Northern Wisconites sound similar, but without the ‘ay’ after the sentences. It sounds charming.
Looking at Doug Ford, my diagnosis is he’s Hangry.
A lot.
You have no idea how much I get it. This stuff has to stop. No further comment.
I hear ya.

Just refuse to deliver anything to Ontario until the mandates and this guy’s time in office end.
An important lesson from the 20th century: Kill communists before they kill you!
Who’s advocating violence, Comrade?
You are the only one who has mentioned it.
