My husband turns 84 this year. Most of his short-term memory problem stems from brain damage from a bad wreck over 20 years ago. I know he can’t help it, but it makes it difficult for him to learn new things. A lot of people his age that didn’t have head trauma go through this at around that age too.

I stay pretty patient until about the 20th time he asks me if he ate lunch or got the mail. 😜 I know it might be me someday so I try not to get exasperated.
