She kinda reminds me of a character we have in US history. Joshua Abraham Norton (1818-1880). He was born in England but ended up in the 1840’s in San Francisco, lost his shirt in a rice trading scheme and went broke. He proclaimed himself Emperor Norton the First of the USA. HE dressed in all kinds of regalia an made pronouncements like this lady in Canada. When he suddenly dropped dead in 1880 walking around with his NORTON entourage, he collapsed and died. Over 10,000 people lined the sidewalks of San Francisco to pay homage to him. The emperor character in Mark Twains stories is based loosely on this character...LEX
