Once upon a time last Dec I was walking 2 miles and/or swimming for 30 min, so yeah I walked into the clinic, put a mask on, and sat. But asthma and covid aren’t friends.

I keep track of pulse ox, peak flow. I even have a stethoscope...I’ve heard crackle in my lungs indicating pneumonia, but that was when I had a great doctor. The new one needs some training.

I mean, my last doctor would have taken my appendectomy sutures out, no problem. The new guy was “I can’t step on the surgeon’s toes. “

News flash, New doctor, when I go to the surgeon, he won’t be there and the PA will take care of it. But.....I think my sutures are dissolvable lol.

You can place a sphigmonometer on one arm, get a Pressure, then immediately place it on the other arm and receive completely different results. It does not mean that the device is defective. It is more likely a circulation/perfusion issue.

I only know for certain that a blood analysis is much more reliable than any pulse oximeter. In my little story above, those rookie Doctors were remiss in their responsibilities, and I was among the worst of the crew because I failed to call the need of what should be done to their attention.

I had to learn the lesson, years after I had been doing this sort of thing. I was humiliated, but nobody realized it save myself.

also, yesterday in Alberta (Edmonton) miles and miles and miles of cars and trucks (regular people) were driving to the Legislative Grounds to show support for the truckers. MASSIVE and amazing display of support. MSM will never show it it but it was breathtaking.
