The Leftist media fuels the nightmare for idiot companies like this by propping up the ever-declining Left to make gullible people -- including CEOs -- believe they're some sort of unstoppable monolith, and that "woke" is the wave of the future.
Like the Salvation Army, GoFundMe is about to find out that buying the media's pro-Left propaganda is a recipe for disaster.
I can't believe companies still don't understand the wisdom behind Michael Jordan's famous explanation for why he doesn't get political: "Republicans buy sneakers, too."

Or “harrassment,” another handy legal weasel word. Term 8, which prohibits the promotion of violence and harassment. “promotion of...” makes the meaning even foggier. Like I said, to be safe you have to get a lawyer to check the TOS.
Let me add my two cents here.
1. Did GOFUNDME contact Ottawa first asking Ottawa to say the truckers were promoting violence?
2. GOFUNDME needed an excuse to do what they did.
3. GOFUNDME had no problems with BLM and CHAZ funding in 2020.
4. GOFUNDME and Ottawa and Trudeau are all leftists. Leftists have no problem colluding to achieve their mission.
5. Would RICO statutes come into play here?
6. When the truckers raised $10 million, the Leftists had to take drastic action to shut down the truckers. Too many people in the USA and Canada were becoming too sympathetic with the truckers.

American Express would not do a charge back when I called them last night, before GFM changed their refund policy. Rethinking my relationship with Amex, already done with GFM.
When a peasant doesn’t pay his taxes on time, the IRS charges interest and penalties. This should apply to GFM.
It’s card processors
Bank owner processors park money....for days to batch and settle and disburse
Mine hit daily but they hold around 60% which hits on one big drop weekly
It’s a joke...but my bank requires I use Elavon which processes for the bank card issuer and all get a cut.
Others like Square don’t
I’ve taken cards a long time
It’s a pure racket
Big bank processors like Evalon may charge 7% for outside unverified charges
Square charts 1.5-2%
There are other cheap processors too
And money transfer apps are eating into this as well
It’s only a matter of time it’s mostly device prompted
I own car washes and refund daily via cash app and Venmo and zelle
The first two charge I think one and a half percent to move cash from them to your bank account....instant....free if you can wait 1-3 days
Course they have your money bearing interest in meantime
Zelle a member bank service may be free
This is fast evolving biz model and technology but I’d say plastic as we know it is on the wane
