When I get home from work my wife is usually in the midst of a Murder She Wrote episode. There was one a couple of days ago featuring Mr. Persoff. I knew he was still alive and near 100, so I looked him up and was glad to see he is still as you stated alive at 102. I liked him playing a gangster on several episodes of The Untouchables. Like you said, he was in everything.
I love the old Untouchables show.
