I have been taking 10,000 units of Vitamin D a day. Just had a blood work up and I will see the doctor this Tuesday for the results. One of the things he is looking at is my Vitamin D level. It will be interesting to see where I stand. By the way I am 78 years old.
You take too much. Having 32 ng/ml is ideal.
Rarely have I gotten ill, let alone a cold in all that time.
I’ve been taking 10,000 IU’s of D3 for years. Osteoporosis runs in my family and calcium supplements work better if you have enough vitamin D. I also take zinc, vitamin C, and magnesium. I’ve been doing this for a long time. Had my vitamin D level checked a year ago. It was in the 60’s.
My recent bout with covid was relatively mild. The cough is still annoying but I did pretty well. I credit my supplements and losing 10% body weight since March 2020. Screw you, covid!
YOU GO!! :-)
