If the jalapenos don't have enough oomph, I'll get into my stock of Hatch Valley Chiles. (Them's the REAL deal.)
Oofda. Almost a shame to spend one on a lousy cold, except that nobody in the family seems to get one unless they've got kids in grade school bring the stuff home and get it knocked down in a day or less.
The twins are getting bored with having everybody else in their class getting sick. Their Mom says they've started teaching each other to read to the point they've run through all the KG "readers" and halfway through to 2nd grade level.
Last time they were at The Homestead, those two were certainly eyeballing my bookcases. Got some Winnie the Poo and some other early reader stuff in there they look like they'd like to tackle.
Sheesh. Anybody getting sick of me bragging about my pretty little prodigies?
You have every right to brag. I lent my grandson a really old version of “The Call of the Wild” and he said he couldn’t get into it. 😒
You just keep on bragging.
...........
Nope, proud of ya. We did some of that too, but not so good at it. However my wife taught the kids, 4 of them, to read early, around 4 y 0. She was very patient I must say.
Never.
Brag away, FRiend!
We never tire of hearing about each other’s grands/kids.
Not at all. That’s really sweet how they are teaching each other.
