Translation - O’Toole appears to be falling out of grace. He isn’t popular to begin with, but he could lose the leadership of the “Conservative” party up here. He’s gone along with all this covid crap from the get-go - didn’t speak up against the lockdowns that I’m aware of.
Now that the truckers have gained such momentum, however, he decides to stick big phony political finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing, and thinks now that people are going to fall for it. I hate the phony “right” politicians even more than the evil left. At least the evil left are obvious.
I guess this means just under half of the Member of Parliament in the Conservative Party are for ousting O’Foole. I’ll find to find out how many they need to actually give the guy the heave ho. I doubt very much, however, that he’ll be replaced with anyone different. For comparison, our “Conservatives” are you Rinos.

Maxime Bernier has been on board all along. There’s one more conservative (our rep) who has been quietly trying to move things our way. Her name is Leslyn Lewis. I voted for her for the leadership position back when. She has to watch how far she pushes - the “Conservative” party throws people out if they disagree in the least.
