So thankful you can move into a new house away from your troublesome neighbors. May the Promises of Psalm 91 be upon you, your family, and your home.
The obnoxious fool is not a neighbor. He lives in a neighborhood about a mile away. He follows us from place to place. I’m hoping he won’t find out our new location.
But we keep the gate locked just the same.

Ahhh, an afternoon rain. “A bright sun-shiny shower, Never lasts an hour.” And yet, it cools things off marvelously.
I developed a bit of a malady on Sunday. I’m much improved today. However, I just wrote this little bit of “gallows” humor:
Fever has broken,
Like the first shower.
Droplets of wetness,
Stream down off my head.
Praise for the healing,
Praise for returning,
My cold-wracked body,
When its half dead.

If you can stand it, here’s Kamala’s remarks at her press conference in Munich yesterday.
Notice how the aide chirps in and says she, the aide, will direct who Kamala will call on when the VP opens it up for questions—a sure sign of a scripted presser.
Even so, the word salad Harris spews, even without a SaladShooter, is unreal.
The crockpot contest went well. Especially since it was our first one. 12 entries and about 30 + people showed up. Usually , on Sundays we don't have that many people.
The winner was pulled pork.
