Zelensky Invites Biden To Visit Ukraine In “Coming Days” In Pushback Against ‘Imminent’ Invasion Fears
During their Sunday phone call Ukraine’s President Zelensky asked Biden to visit Kiev in person amid continuing White House claims that a Russian invasion is set to happen “any day” now.
Saying that major Ukrainian cities are “under safe protection,” Zelensky suggested that a visit of the US president in person would stop the spread of panic and prevent escalation. “I am convinced that your visit to Kyiv in the coming days... would be a powerful signal and help stabilize the situation,” Zelensky was quoted as saying in the call.
“We will stop any escalation. The Ukrainian capital, Kiev, other cities in our country - Kharkov and Lvov, Dnepr and Odessa - are under safe protection,” Zelensky told the US president.
As for the White House call readout, it was brief and scant on details, while again underscoring the path for diplomacy remains open:
President Biden reaffirmed the commitment of the United States to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. President Biden made clear that the United States would respond swiftly and decisively, together with its Allies and partners, to any further Russian aggression against Ukraine. The two leaders agreed on the importance of continuing to pursue diplomacy and deterrence in response to Russia’s military build-up on Ukraine’s borders.
Meanwhile, the below tweet from the Russian embassy in the UK is being seen by some as a “ray of hope” - strongly signaling there will be no Russian offensive:

How many children are being forced to wear masks at school today after everyone was maskless at the Super Bowl last night?
Many of these kids watched the game too.
They see what’s going on and they won’t forget.
Stop masking children.
All those maskless Super Bowl attendees, including the celebrity hypocrites….yet, kids, at LA area/CA schools, today, are required to wear the d@&$ things, right?

In a viral video, a 78-year-old great-grandfather was arrested and handcuffed by Ottawa police on Monday after he gave the trucker a thumbs up and a honk.
Gerry Charlebois was arrested for honking his horn in support of a protesting trucker. The policeman named ‘Jones’ argued that honking a horn “is an offense.”
The old man and great-grandfather suffered cuts and bruises on his arms and hands, shoulder, and knee from the arrest.
One man who witnessed the incident confronted the policeman.
“Yes, I know you’re abusing the old man. It’s called communism. You [old man] don’t have to show anything [driver’s license]. You didn’t do anything wrong. You have the right to freedom of choice. You have the right to beep your Horn or whatever,” the good samaritan said. “Why are you doing this?” he asked the police.
The police responded, “because it is an offense, I have written down that it is. It’s actually an offense.”

Gerry Charlebois told the Toronto Sun in an interview that he “meant no harm”. “I just gave the trucker a thumbs up and a honk,” he added.

LA just held an indoor event for 4+ hours with over 75,000 people, including the Mayor, with no masks or social distancing.
This is the same LA County that threatened jail time for an 82-year-old pastor for having a church service indoors.
Are you paying attention yet?
This is also the same LA County that will force masks on school children for 8 hours Monday morning.
Petty tyranny must END.
