The police – now under formal investigation – stand accused of dressing up as construction workers and attempting another entry just two days later.

Capitol Police Spies ‘Dressed Like Construction Workers’ To Surveil GOP Congressman’s Office
Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) has lodged a bombshell accusation against the Capitol Police, who he says broke into his office without his knowledge and photographed sensitive documents.
Two days later, three intelligence officers dressed like construction workers ran into a member of Nehls’ staff while trying again during Thanksgiving week to enter the office - questioning the staffer as to the contents of a photograph they illegally took two days earlier.
According to The Federalist, “In November 2021, a USCP officer entered the congressional office of Rep. Troy Nehls, R-Tex., and took a photo of a whiteboard in Nehls’ legislative office detailing various legislative plans being considered by Nehls and his staff.”
The officer claimed in a police report several days later that he was conducting routine security patrol on Saturday, Nov. 21, and ‘discovered that one of the doors to Nehls’ office was open.’
The report claimed that the officer entered Nehls’ office and found a whiteboard that contained “suspicious writings mentioning body armor[.]” The officer reportedly took a photo of the whiteboard, which was then passed around to analysts within USCP. The following Monday, USCP dispatched three plain-clothed intelligence officers to Nehls’ office and questioned a staffer who was there about the whiteboard and the legislative proposals it contained. -The Federalist
Interestingly, the Washington Post had run a story days earlier about a Texas federal contractor who defrauded the United States by supplying Chinese-made body armor vs. armor made in the US.
The Federalist also reports that the inspector general for the US Capitol Police (USCP) has launched an investigation into whether there has been inappropriate surveillance of elected members of Congress, their staff, and visitors to their officers.

We face the same problem here, about 40k to 50k town, 150 miles from Freeatle, Seattle. I volunteer at a homeless day shelter. Catholic family services built a 4 story appartment complex that is subsidized for the poor. You pay according to what your income is. $450 would make your rent 18 dollars. The feds pay the rest. The CFS is suppose to do follow ups for employment and counseling to get them going. Have not been doing that, partly because of covid. The place has become a drug haven and is very difficult to evict people. Now they want to build another one. We also have a tent location with about 50 set ups to keep them from messing up the river banks. No one is able to enforce any rules, so big trash problem and break ins at local businesses. So basically, the more you do the more people come.
As a Christian I know we are suppose to help the poor, but you have to have wisdom in the proper way to do it. We can help, but we have to make sure we do not ENABLE by making them avoid consequences therefor not be inclined to change.

Well I got a whole 3 hours of sleep. I have to drive to Ashland today to see a specialist this afternoon. Not looking forward to a two hour drive each way. Need extra coffee!
Don’t discount Obama’s influence on lifting mask mandates. I think he got a bit wee we’d up with the recent maskless pic of him in Hawaii while his serfs were masked up. He and the Dems know they’d better lighten up or they won’t even be able to steal another election.
