A good description of where we are right now IMO.It’s typical of Europe, New Zealand and Australia also. They had the US providing military defense thus enabling them to spend on all the socialist nonsense like healthcare, generous pensions and generous welfare and safety net for citizens. Which is just an extension of their history of having a monarchy rule over them. Basically they are still living in a modern version of serfdom with the state supplanting royalty. That’s all fascism or communism is, a modern version of feudalism. To be truly independent and free like the US is foreign to them.
