That’s assuming truckers are willing to go there. Most blue states are controlled by large metros which if things go south relating to food would make it unsafe to deliver in these areas. Most of the farm states are red, Cali and Illinois being the exceptions. Although get out of Chicongo and Illinois farm country is more conservative. Florida has large ag area north of Everglades around Lake Okeechobee mostly peppers and citrus. Arkansas has large rice growing along the Mississippi 40% of US rice grown there. Wash DC has already sent out PAs about store shortages and to buy only what you need. If there is a food supply chain disruption IMO New England will be hit the worst due to distance from farming states and processing plants. If US truckers’ convoy has protests similar to the Canadian ones it will shut down everything ,regardless of where one lives, with the poisonous wells of large metros, aka demo-fascist rat holes, hit hardest. Currently Walmart has sporadic empty shelves but they have their own truck fleet and distribution supply chain. They wouldn’t escape a food supply chain disruption though.
I’m in New England and I’m not worried. I grow everything I really need. I’ll be growing more this year. My freezer is FULL of meat.
