I think you'll be impressed with this guy especially his vaxx stance. He is very well spoken.

He was a former extremist imprisoned in Egypt but now repudiates it all.

He got fired from his radio show the other week at an unfortunate time (his wife is expecting)

Looking forward to see this episode!

Am I the only one who doesn’t understand a 3 hour? podcast? How does anyone carve out that much time, not to mention patience?

It certainly bucks the trend but millions watch/listen to them.

You must have never listened to The Great el Rushbo (RIP) either then.

Does this mean end of January? Or end of February?

A lot of people listen to podcasts on their drive time. I do.

I listen when I want, while driving often breaking up the episode into several chunks. No necessity to listen continuously.

That’s right. El Rushbo was amomg the first podcasters, and His 3-hour radio show set the trend for the format. He was told multiple times that people would not listen to a 3-hour show. Yet millions of us listened for years.

Still miss Rush so much, no one can take his place!

el Rushbo

Sure I tuned into Rush, and he was unique. He also broke up his show into segments, each hit different and germane to various events/stories. If he tried to do a 3-hour block on vaccines, he would have lost his audience for the day.

I drive for a living. All of my podcasts are downloaded and ready to go. When I cook in the kitchen, take a shower, all of those moments you can listen.

I put them on in the background when I am doing something else. Sometimes you don’t notice how much time has gone by. I also watch them in segments.

It’s our job. I do a one-hour webcast every week on a different historical topic. For someone like Rogan, it’s his work.

I listen to them while doing chores and housework.

I always thought Rush’s show quality was great diminished it by the endless commercials.

Have you never read a book for three hours?
Ever watch a 3 hour movie?
Ever watch an NFL game?

You can also hit “pause”.

Rarely all at once. A typical week for me was four hour-long installments of the 15 he spoke

Also, announcing a topic he’d discuss early in one hour, but holding it over to the next.

Getting addicted to opiods when recovering from back surgery was the beginning of the descent from his peak ability, in my opinion. But as diminished as he was near the end, there wasn’t anyone whose opinion of the days events I wanted to hear more. Clay and Buck, as good as they are, have yet to hold my attention the way Rush did. Even in his last days.
