The stock market is way down since early December when the fed chairman announced up to 4 rate hikes are coming in 2022.
Im 81, and I don’t know who he is.
Ha! The has beens of *rock*.
I’ll be sure and NEVER listen to any of these geezers, on SiriusXM, ever.
let me pose a question... is there a difference for me, sitrep, to not log into FB at all, or log in and talk to friends but never ever buy a single thing from that site?
with most sites they get paid for your eyeballs by the advertisers ... the same way TV works ...
BS Lies
facebook and twitter would be easier targets ... I that is who Trump is going after with DWAC ...
200 million downloads per month is the figure most often quoted:
Sept 2020: Business Insider: How comedian and UFC commentator Joe Rogan became the world’s highest-paid podcaster
by Katie Warren
“The Joe Rogan Experience” is downloaded almost 200 million times per month...

I’ve been a fan of Neil’s music since I was a senior in H.S in 1972. Since the year 2000 his new music has become stale and weak. Since about the year 2000 he’s been obsessed about producing music about ‘mother earth’ & climate change and how humanity is killing everything, etc, etc.
I ignore the new stuff browse my library of his old music which I still enjoy.
Unlike many of his fans, I don’t follow & obey him like he’s a god or a guru. Today I actually set up an account with Spotify and now I hope to listen to Rogan and a some classic rock & country music.
One thing that was overshadowed in the Rogan/Spotify hoopla was about the same day, Neil said he would no longer use transportation that uses fossil fuels — including commercial transportation such as jets. If he holds true his fans across the globe can forget about ever seeing him perform live. But Neil doesnt care. He will spew out youtube or live video feeds for his adoring fans. Also, he stated that he will not allow any vehicles that use fossil fuels to access his Colorado ranch. He is currently refitting his tour bus to be battery operated.....
These Neil Young fan FB groups are now telling everyone that you must cancel Spotify if you are a “true fan” of Neil Young! Obviously I jump in that a “true fan” must also dispose of their fossil fueled vehicles asap! Stop using fossil fueled public transportation, too. That statement was just too much for them to hear! LOL.....
Anyway, they are unhinged. Most of these fans are likely in the 30 to 40-something year range but there are a few that are my age, mid 60s.
This whole thing is a fiasco but sane people must hold these mindless fanatics to the same Gospel of Neil & command them to dispose of their gas fueled cars now. That fossil fuel commandment got lost in the Spotify/Rogan commandment....
Its complicated, I think the news is actually a long term positive for Spotify, but I’ve go unrealized losses on other Tech stocks this past month because of the Fed threatening to raise rates.
The downturn started with Tax selling and inflation pressure in December and hasn’t let up. That’s why Spotify has been down so long I think. However Spotify went up yesterday. We’re not in a bear Market or correction yet... It looks like a good long market for calls deep into the year or next year. (Not a financial advisor) It continues to grow subscribers. Well over 300 million of them.
Joe Rogan is not leaving and he’s becoming a huge phenomenon for Millennials worldwide.
He doesn’t give a 💩 about Spotify.
Listen to his shows. He uses YouTube and anyone else who still post his show to push rumble he will continue to post to Spotify until they do something stupid like YouTube did
Bongino basically said I quit and a few hours later YouTube said you’re fired.
I agree.
What is your response? Personally?
Agreed. We were organized during the Tea Party and all of that got left behind.
Just logging in helps Facebook. Market share is about routine users on a daily basis, and market share alone can be used as clout in order to later receive revenue.
Far too many people wait for someone else to do something.
Now Spotify is losing dough? This is beyond my ability to understand. I want to buy into this company. I think that they are awesome, but I do not even know what they sell.
I now do not want to buy nothing from them, not with real money.
The World has passed me by. I can accept that because frankly, I do not care. I only care about my family, and I have a wonderful family. Well it is mostly wonderful. I am not particularly fond of the steers & queers aspect of the Losers, but I am above all tolerant, a little.
Wonderful story on Spotify was published by Forbes in November:
Podcasts is the next digital gold mine. And Spotify has an edge over the rest of the big bad tech companies. Let’s hope they succeed!
Now is the time to INVEST in Spotify. Don’t forget they also signed a deal with Bambie from Kenya. Maybe this is why Neil Young and others are complaining about Rogan. They see how Spotify is establishing a leadership position in this new market.
Read the story. It’s outstanding and explains the dynamics of this hot podcast market and where it could go.
I’ll tell you one thing. Neil Young has created a ton of publicity for Spotify! Lots of non-music types have never heard of Spotify. Now your average Joe-Six-Pack and Jill-Pina-Colada will hear about them.
“Don’t forget they also signed a deal with Bambie from Kenya.”
BTW, Neil Percival Young did perform at Woodstock (along with Crosby Stills and Nash). Just checked on our ‘old friend google”. LOL at myself. Just found he is married to Daryl Hannah. Unaware of that fact until now.
Just watched our wonderful President speak in TEXAS tonight.
WHAT a crowd assembled there!
