Facebook banned me for 30 days for a comment I made about the Palestinian tennis player who refuses to compete against Jews. (Violated their Community Standards.)

Styxx is great though I can’t support the 666 in his name.

Why do you even have YouTube or Facebook accounts? They're used to spy on you, track you, and pass along any "subversive" information you might post to the FBI and other Deep State organs.

After January 6th, Big Tech scoured their accounts for any photos or information that might help the FBI track down anyone who merely attended the 1/6 protest.

I don't have social media accounts. Never did. I can watch YouTube without logging in.

If you are an individual that may work for you.

Run for office, become a commentator, or run a business and try not having any social media accounts. This is where the people are. It’s the town square and people need it to get their message out and compete. This isn’t the 1800s where we are placing classified ads in the newspapers. But we understand what you’re saying and we are people are transitioning to other platforms.

Also if nobody has a youtube account then how is anyone going to post anything new for you to watch without logging in. Most people don’t know about the other sites yet. It’s going to be a long process.

We all need to reread G. Orwell’s book 1984. Newspeak is about controlling people and not about truth or facts.

The likes of Facebook don’t care about truth, they just censor what they and their masters don’t want the public to hear.

Inertia. I’ve been touting Torba’s Gab for years, but people seem to be content to remain on Twitter and complain.

I was watching a Youtube video on security and it recommended using the Chrome browser to do so and only use it for that. Use other non Chrome browsers for anything else on the web. That limits Google to tracking only the chrome browser and your youtube activity and nothing else.

I never use Google Chrome for YouTube or anything.

If you want to use a Chrome browser, why not use Brave? I understand that Brave is a privacy version of Chrome.

Google Chrome isn't the only Chrome out there. Comodo Dragon is another one. But I think Brave is better for privacy.

That’s because your post was without context and misleading.

Isn’t Chrome Google, and therefore any variant of Chrome also Google? Would it be beyond belief to assume that the “privacy” versions of ANY browser (i.e. - Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge) or app (i.e. - WhatsApp) either has a back-door for, or is run by, the intelligence community?

I've read that Chrome is open source freeware, and that Google Chrome is Google's version of it, filled with their extensions, add-ons, and spyware. By contrast, Brave is a Chrome that's supposed to be better at privacy.

Granted, you're never 100% secure or private on the internet. But you improve your chances if you avoid Google Chrome or MS Edge.

Brave and Firefox (which is non-Chrome) are some of the better privacy browsers.

As for search engines, DuckDuckGo has gotten a lot of press as a good privacy alternative to Google or Bing, but I recently read that Qwant is even better.
