Don't know for sure. Seen "reports" to that effect on the net, but nothing with any sauce at all.

One thing I do know:

The pilot is a Naval Aviator.

Had a hand in training a few thousand back in The Day and NONE ever had a gender or race tied to the title.

I suspect the aforesaid fools talk a really good line while running for election or re-election, and decent, overly trusting people just can't comprehend (yet) how two-faced and evil they really are. Some have trouble believing it even after they see the evidence with their own eyes.

But God help them when the people they fooled finally wake all the way up and realize the magnitude of the politicians' perfidy.

Beautiful. I spent the afternoon with several of my children and 5he two youngest grandchildren. Listening to the babies laugh and their parents laugh together was a great joy that I don’t take for granted. Laughter is healing. Babies laughing are extra healing. I always feel better after I get to see and hold them.

Just catching up....and read your comment. As a carrier OOD back in the day I can tell you that we would come into the wind for launches and recoveries within 5-10 minutes of the required timing. Nothing in the video indicates the carrier did anything unique from what I can see.

For recoveries the jets do a racetrack around the carrier before final approach going down the port side heading aft before turning and coming in for approach.

This looks like it was a long (past the wires) and HARD set down. Haven’t heard any health details like an emergency about the pilot, but that or a mechanical issue would be the only things that I can think of that would make this non-pilot error.
