The man who allegedly ambushed and shot two NYPD officers — one fatally — in Harlem Friday is a convicted felon who was on probation at the time, authorities said.
Lashawn McNeil, 47, was shot in the head and arm by a third officer as he tried to flee, and was hospitalized in critical condition Friday night, NYPD Chief of detectives James Essig said at a press conference.

They had the grand opportunity to elect “Curtis Sliwa as their New Mayor...but it appears that they chose the same old Democrat Party, low life for their Mayor. May God Almighty help and protect New York City....the Democrats certainly will not!!! I have no problem with what NYS and NYC are doing. It’s obvious a vast majority of their citizens are getting what they want. Anyone with a brain should be leaving.
