I saw that Starbucks is dropping mandate for employees. They said it was in response to Supreme Court decision, but I’m wondering if maybe some bad vaccine news is on the way. Also, I think I read that a Moderna building caught fire. Starbucks would be one of the last companies that I would guess to be the first to drop the mandate.
All these service industries are struggling for workers and basically recruiting from the same pool of potential employees. Starbux has some smart management and understands every overpriced cup of java or pastry that you can’t deliver is a lost sale.
