Newsmax commentators on comedian saying red states are the only ones in which people with different viewpoints can still laugh together.

the accusation of Roseanne being racist really hurt her at a core level. Roseanne’s youngest child is mixed race black child. The fact that Goodman was nowhere is scummy but then being on the outside and judging is not good on my part.

He made it plain that he did not want to hurt her, that he felt that the cast were like a family, and he did not want to exacerbate the rift. Fischman and Gilbert, however, who grew up on the Roseanne set and knew better, couldn’t resist the call of the herd of rabid sheep. Maybe Goodman should have been more emphatic in his defense of her, but he at least refused to pile on.
