I too almost lost my son. When he was 19 he got addicted to OXY and whatever pills he could get. He shot himself in the face with a 12 gage shotgun. In times like that you learn about black-dark humor. It gets you through.
In 2016 my only son who survived that incident lost his only son to a DTaP shot. The love of our life. I appreciate your posts. Don’t let those who don’t “get it” dissuade you.
We are dealing with health challenges in our house, possible Omicron exposure, chronic hives, abscesses tooth, bronchitis or pneumonia. The list goes on. I like to say, “Quit borrowing trouble.” We don’t assume it’s the worst and we do what we can in the meantime.

Just know azkathy, it has become quite evident lately that we simply cannot trust the Government.

It does seem strange that we are literally at the brink of an Orwellian Dystopia.

Back in the 1950s, ‘Brinkmanship’ was official policy. That entire ‘Duck and Cover’ BS was no accident. From 1945 until current day the USA has outweaponized the entire world by leaps and bounds. I have always been OK with that, until the Zero was thrust upon us.

Even Carter was a Navy guy. As bad as he was, I never imagined that he would let us get whacked by the Russkie’s or the Chinks. Yeah, I know, I am racist for talking normal.

I could Post about such things all night long, for real.

It reads as if your son is better, survived or recovered. Thank God.

I do try to contain my rage, but humor does seem to be my best outlet. Maybe I am not a funny guy at all, but I try.
