In the early ‘80s, Soviet leaders were dropping like flies. I recall Chopin accompanied all those Red Square ceremonies.

I missed the opening song last night for the rally, having had to sneak a listen from the office at work.

I remember my older brother, using that tune, singing “Pray for the dead or the dead will prey for you”. LOL Ancient history for me, almost.
