“Darn - he was really great in Sneakers”
Agreed. Loved that movie. Even Redford was good in it.
R.I.P. and Godspeed.
An excellent actor who was in some really good films.
I didn’t know until recently that the actress who played daughter Joanna in that movie was Katharine Hepburn’s niece.
I always liked him. Even though he was a lefty, he had class. I am glad he had such a long run and I am glad he broke down social barriers.
im saying he aint coming to dinner he gone
The red hair!.....................
Oh, okay.....................
He may not have had the “it” factor, which Sidney did have. Sheer star power.
Dick Van Dyke.
Black political activists and black political activist actors need to understand Sidney - he had nor needed a “black” acting role model to see and go for what he could do, what he could be. He was not held back by what had not happened before him.
A wonderful talent and role model.
I always enjoyed The Bedford Incident. Pretty scary movie.
Agreed.
First Class all the way!!!
RIP
Yes, I remember my first jpb was at the local drive-in.

Always liked his role in Duel At Diablo. Pretty good honorable mention type western, James Garner, Dennis Weaver and others.
Nor will they announce when he got the vax
Great story; tense, well-acted. Fine cinematography, for black and white, I mean. The faces spoke volumes.
That is a good one!
I absolutely agree with your assessment of Home of the Brave. Great performances throughout, particularly Edwards, Lloyd Bridges, Steve Brodie, and Frank Lovejoy.
Edward’s association with Communists and fellow travelers did him in in late 40’s -1950’s Hollywood. Great actor, just born too soon. Those connections would be a boon for him with the woketopian entertainment industry today...
