No. for cigarettes they're burning the nicotine so it doesn't help. patches are good. Chewing tobacco I heard years ago they had a lower chance of cancer other then the mouth. Though I heard that from a person that chewed. I would have to check if that was true. Though to much of anything isn't good.

Nicotine is the key word here. The stuff that’s in store bought ciggies is pure poison (designed that way). Now, actual tobacco can be very beneficial to you much like turnips or collards. It can be eaten, and if properly prepared is similar to collards. No one eats tobacco because it’s more valuable cured and smoked. Tobacco is very high in nicotinic acid (niacin - we most folks are woefully deficient in), and is the reason why smokers are underrepresented in COVID statistics.

Nicotine has not been shown to cause cancer.
