LOL, I remember my wife telling me she heard that Bush had made his Veep pick. I asked who he picked and she said "Cheney". I chuckled at her naivety and said "no, honey, Cheney was the guy in charge of helping Bush pick someone. You must be confused". I guess the joke was on me.
The real joke was believing those RINOs were better than (or even different from) the 'rats they opposed.
It's a learning process. The fact that these RINO's lied to their voters from HW Bush to W. and they spawned losers like Mclame, Dole (nice guy but horrible nominee), Romney - it all led to Trump. Without them I don't think Trump gets elected. Conservatives were so sick of being lied to they voted for a total outsider. I believe that hesitant sentiment continues as strong today. Which is why any candidate w/o Trump's endorsement will lack conservative support.
