America isn’t just seeing less of Mike Pompeo because the Trump administration is no longer in the White House. We are seeing less of the former Secretary of State because there is literally less of him — 90 pounds, to be exact.
The former Director of the CIA has faced a lot of challenging situations in his long career, but he hesitates to talk about his weight loss because of a nagging fear he will put all the pounds he lost back on. But, in an exclusive interview with The Post, he revealed how he did it and why.
It all started on June 14, 2021, when Pompeo stepped on the scale and saw he was just pounds away from 300 for the first time in his life.

Any overweight person who has not lost significant weight during the two years of this pandemic ought to really question their priorities, whether it’s the morbidly obese woman riding around the supermarket aisles in a fatmobile or a professional male tucking away that excess 40-50 pounds in a finely tailored suit.
I don’t subscribe to the “killer batches” theory.
I think all of the mRNA clot shots were designed from start to be “slow kill” poison.
Congrats, but I hate to pose a painful, rhetorical question:
What happens when you stop Nutrisystem?
Therein lies the problem.
I’ve been maintaining consistent weight for nearly a decade now after losing over 50.
I’ve had little motivation to go for the remaining 20 - the virus/lockdowns didn’t help - and refuse to lie and state that I’ve ‘tried’ (I haven’t), but I did succeed in maintaining.
I’m hoping getting back to my book will motivate me to shed the rest.
I didn't. Even his voice is different now. Nothing but respect for the man and his determination to lose weight.
We’ll just have to see.
How did I do it?
I resolved that I would walk 10,000 steps every day. On most days I was more in the 15,000 to 20,000 range. Once you hit 20,000 steps, you are in the ten mile range. I walked every morning before going to work, I walked during lunch hour and I walked when I got home. Having a dog helps keep you motivated and your dog will love the new routine!
I cut out all junk food and carefully tracked everything I ate. I would even weigh my snacks (like nuts and raisins) and put them into little zip-lock bags to have with me in case I got hungry. If a one-ounce serving of almonds was 23 nuts, I carefully counted them out and put them in the bag. I had no limit on the calories I could consume but I recorded everything I ate and avoided any food product with added sugar.
It took a lot of discipline but I was motivated and it was gratifying to see the pounds roll off so quickly. People who had not seen me in a while literally did not recognize me.
They have a maintenance program, with flex meals as opposed to the Nutrisystem meals. You use their Numi tracker.
When my pain gets out of control, I take a hot bath. It’s instant relief.
I’ll bet he followed the keto plan.
He was only 40lbs over Trump, and he carried the weight nearly as well as Trump does.
Now that Pompeo has lost the weight, he's lost hair as well, and stopped coloring it for some godforesaken reason.
Mike has also lost muscle mass wtf -- any weight loss regimen that drastic, that fast, that does not incorporate at least a core strength program and supplant the body's requirements for naturally-found vitamins, trace minerals, and fuel almost exclusive to (duh duh duhhhn) fatty foods. Which suggests he isn't getting the best advice on the most important thing after spiritual health, which is physical health -- and that's a hint he isn't presidential material. Not passing judgment yet -- although notably Tedlim just blew up his 2024 campaign by downgrading Cankles' "deplorables" to "terrorists".
So, 2024. Pompeo has to pass the Trump test (assuming President Trump isn't running, but he is, but let's play out the line since the bait is in the water): how does any non-Trump candidate for 2024 thread the MSM needle when it comes to Trump?
There are only 2 options and I fear Pompeo isn't aware of the 'primary' one (pun intended):
Which of those options seems facilely simpler? Guess what is gonna happen lofl!!
He was disgusted by the decisions that his successor, Antony Blinken, has been making?

Honest question:
You’re Ok with that?
The best qualified...it’s the only way.
We’re talking about running the most powerful country in the world. Not plumping up a diversity report for the local school superintendent.
Hunter could start a diet program. It would be hugely popular.
Agreed 100% or more. Pandering to commiepukes, soibois and wokedom is the fast track path to hell.
.
I think it’s the loss of subcutaneous fat that makes you look old.
Agree!
New Pompeo looks like a generic old White Republican Asa Hutchinson-type guy.
