No. I’ve never once walked into someone’s home uninvited. The woman should have knocked. She wasn’t a teenager who hadn’t learned manners yet.
It was Christmas Eve and she was not invited to the small family gathering. It wasn’t that loud snd it wasn’t that late. It was far from a ‘party’. I expected loud music playing, lots of alcohol, etc. it was a few adults laughing and opening gifts. She should be charged with trespassing.
You and I grew up in very different neighborhoods... enter someones house uninvited where I grew up, for ANY reason, and you weren’t “walking” out.
Do not confuse stupidity with bravery.
Give people a chance to sleep it off if they were over the night before partying.
Give people a chance to celebrate Christmas (Eve) with their families. Christmas Day is a federal holiday.
She’s brave. But she was more than justified in telling them to tone it down.
Why is this news?
I’m sure she did. But when you’re blasting music at 120 db, you’re not likely to hear someone pounding on your door.
You’ve never crashed a party?
You’re no fun.

There’s no good reason to be noisy enough to disturb the neighbors, especially after 11 pm.
She shouldn’t have entered their home however.
I am not sure why it’s ok for people to make a lot of noise in close by residences after hours.
I didn’t watch the video but we must we call someone a Karen who just wants basic quiet at night time? Is that so awful?
I’ll agree 2AM is “that’s enough” time.
I’ll be considerate of your party, if you’ll be considerate of my sleep.
Going ‘til midnight is understandable. So is realizing others nearby aren’t part of it.
If you’re still going past 2AM to the obvious annoyance of neighbors, answer your phone/door and agree happily to turn it down. If not cooperative, expect escalation.
Listening to the Sheriff deputy dressing down the uncooperative host was amusing; the winning exchange was “but he’s going into the Navy tomorrow!” “Not now!”
Good neighbors are invited to such parties.
Especially when the freaking party STARTS at 2AM. Lol.
So she probably lives in an apartment building, went down to knock on the door and ring the bell, but it was so loud they couldn’t hear it.
Then she found the door was unlocked...
“I hadn’t thought of the racial angle in this case.”
The story is always about belittling white people. It’s all the do.
The new Indiana Jones is about a an old white guy, out of touch, who is shown the error of his ways by a white lady and a black lady in the 1960s.
The new He-Man movie was about how useless He-Man was and the day must be saved by two giant muscular lesbian lovers.
Don’t get me started about James Bond, Star Wars, and everything else.
Actually, while I’m thinking about Star Wars, you ever notice that all the Empire people are white men (and generally English), while the Rebels are all sorts of races and sexes?
I didn’t need to crash parties. I was invited to them.
Ps. There was no music playing. Watch the video. It was just about 5 people opening gifts around the kitchen counter.
If the house is a rockin’ then don’t bother knockin’....come on in!
10pm is usually when quiet time hits around. And if not your supposed to invite you neighbors to party with you:-)
The headline is obviously mistaken.
FWIW, I live next door to the rudest people on the planet. They think everyone in the neighborhood wants to listen to Mariachi Music at 150 db till 3 in the morning. When the music stops they just talk at 100 db till dawn. Then they start up again the next day at 10AM.
I wish I was as brave as this lady.
I agree, 11 pm is time to shut down the loud music if you’re in an apartment building.
I’m beginning to get the idea that mass put-downs of Karens is turning into people being rude or obnoxious and “Karens” getting irritated at them, and asking those people, legitimately, to knock off the irritating behavior.
