Hillary Posts Old Photo of Herself for New Year’s Eve with Caption ‘Looking Ahead’

In her tweet on New Year’s Eve, Hillary Clinton shared an old photo of herself. The photo is several years old – yet she says she is “looking ahead” to 2022.

The caption read: “Looking ahead to 2022. Wishing you a happy, healthy, and fabulous New Year.”

The surprising image she chose to share, was one that was posted in a 2016 montage of Hillary Clinton versus Donald Trump — a fluff piece for Hillary at the time she was running against him for President of the United States. It was published in 2016, almost six years old.

Hillary has resurfaced recently, namely with her ‘Masterclass’, where she read to acceptance speech she had prepared, but never got a chance to give that speech. Despite it being five years since the loss, it seems evident that she still hasn’t been able to come to grips with her stunning defeat and some suggest that she’s preparing for another run in 2024, having dropped several cryptic messages in the last several weeks — this tweet being the latest.

What I always found absolutely astonishing about that episode was the very matter-of-fact behavior and look on the faces of all involved.
