I think the problem with medicine is it is supposed to be preventative but most of us don’t go to our doctors until we think something is wrong.

I guess that would be a problem with us instead of medicine.

I am speaking for myself as I don’t go to the doctor unless I absolutely have to.

I do the same thing as well, I avoid the doctor until I can’t do that anymore. But it also sent a lot of heart problems aren’t symptomatic until there is some damage. The few people I knew that ended up with heart surgery didn’t think they had a problem until it was big. It’s possible insurance won’t cover these procedures and less there are some kind of symptoms warranting them.
