WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow and sleet accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze possible.
WHERE...Along and north of I-20 starting Wednesday afternoon, then expanding further south through the Concho Valley Wednesday evening.
WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon.
IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. In addition, cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

I lived in Ft. Worth, TX, in 1970, and a winter storm hit bringing a few inches of snow with it, with blowing snow throughout the day... having moved from IL, the previous year, the storm seemed normal or run of the mill, but- local agencies were limited to their responses because they only had so many snowplows to respond to the storm. The Appalachians suffer from the same problem.
