I don’t remember who all is in the granny brigade.
So anyway I think I had posted in December my cat tripped me after I had just moved and I fell on boxes. Anyway, the doctor says today I have a cracked rib that is healing. I told him I thought so. He says, well most people would go get pain medication and xrays. I told him I just wrapped it up, and it did hurt like hell for several days. He looked at me like I had just stepped into his office from another century, jeans, boots and all, lol.
I needed the picture one of you post to show him who I run with.
Lol!!!
We need to change our moniker to…
Tough Ol’ Grannies Posse
I wish you could’ve got a pic of his expression. 😂
“I told him I just wrapped it up, and it did hurt like hell for several days.”
That is what I did years ago but recently I ran across an article that said this.
“In the past, doctors would use compression wraps — elastic bandages that you can wrap around your chest — to help splint and immobilize the area. Compression wraps aren’t recommended for broken ribs anymore because they can keep you from breathing deeply, which can increase the risk of pneumonia.”

But if I recall you couldn’t breath deeply even without it being wrapped because it hurt like h*ll to do so.
