Just got home! Cat is glad to see me.
My granddaughter that lives here also went to Wisconsin but came home on the 1st. She has Covid. Hope I don’t get it. Don’t know what the incubation period is.

Now my granddaughter has Covid. Saw her 3 days ago when she left Wisconsin to come back to Texas.
I ordered tonic water on my flight, the attendant told me that’s the only drink they can’t get, supplier always out. I didn’t tell her it’s because people drink for Covid, which is what I wanted it for. 😎yes, I spent a lot of time eating slowly and drinking coffee so I could breathe without a mask.

The IHU variant has been reported just in France and not spotted in any other country or labelled a variant under investigation by the World Health Organization (WHO). It was first discovered in mid-November and is linked to travel to Cameroon in Africa.
The variant is a sub-lineage of the B.1.640 and its discovery was announced by researchers from Méditerranée Infection in Marseille, part of France’s Instituts hospitalo-universitaires (IHU, or University Hospital Institutes) - hence the name. It has been classified as B.1.640.2.
