Centennial Monument
Gonzales Memorial Museum in Gonzales, Texas. The Immortal 32 Centennial Monument seen in front.
The Gonzales Memorial Museum was dedicated in 1936 for the Texas Centennial. Among its exhibits is The Immortal 32 Centennial Monument, a tall tapered shaft of pink Texas granite with a bronze sculpture by Raoul Josset. The sculpture depicts an allegorical figure supporting the Alamo above his head. Two flagpoles flank the sculpture. It is located at the end of the 104’ reflection pool.[6]

👍 Thanks for fleshing out that bit of history.
Hey sweetie. I’m not sure of grid coordinates. I could go check my GPS but I’m toasty in my van in back in nest. It’s pretty cold here today. Earlier the sun was pouring into the windows of van n it was warm. With the setting sun not do much Just a small no amount of snow.
I’m in Quaker Gap NC .
I had earlier opened up the Newsmax link. I recall the rally in Arizona a lot of people here complaining about interruptions and talking over speakers. This will be my sons first Rally so would like it to be decent. We have the continual issue of service going from one bar to no service.
You bet.
I have lived in San Antonio, and visited the Alamo, but somehow let this heroic act slip from my memory. Texans are by nature, cut from some of the strongest timbers.
Molon Labe
From the Greek for “come and take them,” molon labe is a slogan used to express defiance, and is frequently employed by gun-rights advocates in the US.

Just wordsmithing with the 10-digit grid coordinate jargon.
You’re in Andy Griffith’s backyard. The fictitious Mount Pilot was a bifurcated word-meaning, using the towns- Mount Airy and Pilot Mountain, NC.
Have you seen the actual geologic formation known as Pilot Mountain?
I served 3 years in Uncle Sam’s ragtime band and was stationed at Ft Bragg, NC. (Spring Lake/Fayetteville area)
I hope all is well with you and yours.
Action! Action! Action!
Let’s Go Brandon!
Local speakers up now. Matt Rinaldi
Chairman Matt Rinaldi represented northwest Dallas County in the Texas Legislature from 2015 to 2019. During his time in office, Rinaldi was consistently rated among the top two most conservative members of the House by Rice University, Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, Young Conservatives of Texas and Texas Eagle Forum. Rinaldi was, according to the Dallas Morning News, “instrumental in strengthening the punishments in the sanctuary cities ban,” and authored and passed into law measures that: remove from office public officials who adopt sanctuary city policies, require government contractors and subcontractors to use e-Verify, revoke pensions of teachers convicted of committing sex crimes against students, allow churches to utilize volunteers to provide security services without risking heavy fines, and prohibit any taxpayer money from going to Planned Parenthood. He served as the Pro-Life Whip for Texas Right to Life in 2017.
Chairman Rinaldi earned his Juris Doctor with honors from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from James Madison University. Matt attends St. Ann’s Catholic Parish in Coppell with his wife, Corley, and son, Rush.

Victor Avila, a Special Agent-Border Patrol, is also running for Texas Land Commissioner. He was on Steve Bannon’s War Room, and for that reason I sent him a $50 donation.
That Putin is such a scallywag. You just never know what he’s up to next!
Sid Miller

Telling a rooster joke. Kind of clever.
Oh. I’m so glad I don’t have to worry about traffic much.
Yes....least fave freeway....the highway part, way North of Houston, wasn’t too bad, the last time we traveled there, but....that’s been quite a few years ago.
