Stupid question, but what does this have to do with the Constitution & our freedoms? They should be debating the legal aspects of a mandate.
Clay Travis just told a story - He mentioned that someone in his law class was a clerk for Justice Souter. One night they had to work late & the clerks ordered pizza. Souter, and maybe other Justices, had no idea that you could call up & have pizza delivered to your office. Souter then went on to ask "what is that on top of the pizza, tomatoes?" The clerk had to explain no, it is pepperoni & it is a common topping for pizzas.
I am really sick & tired of being ordered around & paying taxes to people who are so old &/or out of touch with the real world they couldn't even order a pizza for themselves. Justices, politicians....the whole bunch of out-of-touch, ignorant-of-everyday-fact elites ruling us.

On my ping page this morning was a large tan entrybrown about Washington state mandates etc, something new, I just scanned thru it and some comments. Went back to read it and it is gone. Did anyone else get that?
Good point Jane. If the vaccine is so effective it doesn’t make sense at the vaxed can’t sing and dance. And why don’t they even notice that?

This is definitely soup weather. And Crock-Pot weather. Although I’m having a hard time thinking of more ideas. Hubby says we will just wait for dinner time and then take something out of the freezer. Huh? And do what with it at that point? He makes no sense most of the time anymore.

On the argument that states have been providing facilities that take care of Medicare/Medicaid patients, and that in larger facilities, if they lose a small percentage of employees due to vaccine mandates it may have no impact but in rural areas it can be devastating, Karen said the Federal government has the money so they can do what they want. I wanted to yell at that a$$ that the federal government only has money because the citizens of the States paid the taxes.
She made a good case against giving federal government money for things the constitution doesn’t give them authority over.
