I’ve tried 2 different varieties of the paste. The Durvet brand of paste is clear and has an apple smell but is really tasteless with a very waxy type feel in the mouth. The Med-pharmex brand is a white paste which has a sweetish taste that is not bad. Regardless, I stick tube deep to back of my mouth and deposit it there, and swig some drink to wash it down quick.
It’s not as bad as people think. It’s because it’s for horses that makes them expect the worst. I have taken human meds that were a lot worse.
