Hand sanitizer is not only totally useless, it’s toxic to the max.

And I was raked over the coals for not allowing that stuff in my classroom when I told my students that they could use soap and water in the restroom to wash their hands. The straw that broke me was when a student squirted out a handful of that stuff, went up to another student, then smacked his hands together causing it to get in the other kid’s mouth, nose, and eyes. IIRC, I went off. But that sh*t was taboo in my classroom.
Many people react to artificial fragrances which are in themselves toxic. I did a bunch of research years ago about flu, and found out that rubbing the hands under cold water for 1 minute gets rid of as much bacteria and viruses as any other method. All gone. Or 1/2 minute with soap and warm water. Hand sanitizer is not only a scam, it’s health damaging. All that alcohol absorbs into the skin and is not healthy, what to speak of the other ingredients. And many were found to contain benzene.
