My husband received an email from his employer with their new testing guidelines. Unvaccinated hourly wage employees must test every week at a cost of $75 if done through onsite testing. One can use another approved testing site but failure to upload a test result in the time frame will be a cause for suspension and possible termination after multiple instances.
Since my husband just tested positive, he is exempt from testing for 90 days so he’ll have a bit of a reprieve. I am praying that saner policies will be in place before the 90 days is up.
Of course, if he agrees to the shot, no need for testing.
BTW, it was a fully vaccinated/boostered co-worker who came to work sick who spread the virus around.
