Good MornINg all!
So it’s the last day of 2021. The Good Lord blessed us with a healthy, beautiful grandson so this has been the best year in many ways.
Both kids have done well and are healthy and happy. Thanks be to God for them.
I also found a home/family among the wonderful people on these threads so that is another reason to be grateful for this past year. I have been encouraged and informed here by you all!
Thank you Ransomnote for these threads and Jim for a place for us to gather.
I pray this new year is one filled with blessings, hope and peace for all of you, your loved ones and our beautiful country.
May God make His face to shine upon us.

I’m touching down at gate 104?
My husband received an email from his employer with their new testing guidelines. Unvaccinated hourly wage employees must test every week at a cost of $75 if done through onsite testing. One can use another approved testing site but failure to upload a test result in the time frame will be a cause for suspension and possible termination after multiple instances.
Since my husband just tested positive, he is exempt from testing for 90 days so he’ll have a bit of a reprieve. I am praying that saner policies will be in place before the 90 days is up.
Of course, if he agrees to the shot, no need for testing.
BTW, it was a fully vaccinated/boostered co-worker who came to work sick who spread the virus around.
Clones on drones, named Jones, on the phone, eatin' scones, makin' loans . . . .
New Year's Eve silliness starts early in the AFB-XYZ household. :-)
