Feeling despondent... What can we do?

As someone who has been opposed to the damn vaccines since day one I'm feeling very despondent at the moment.

Our leaders we look up to are seemingly pro-Vaxx and are doubling down even in the face of mounting evidence that they do not work and are dangerous.

I don't want to come across as some crazy person but the next phase of their plan is to inject newborn babies with these experimental shots and then to mandate them.

When does the madness end?

I can't be the only one who is feeling dismayed about all this.

I'd like to know what we can do?

Continue to educate, post, share (if you can get past social media censorship) and promote the work of people like Dr. McCullough in the HOPE that we can reach the leaders within conservative circles.

We also have to offer them an off-ramp.

I can't for example see President Trump backing down.

He's essentially all-in with his recent comments and positions. Scary stuff.

However I believe he needs to come out forcefully against mandates and the injection of kids and contrast his position against the Biden administration as opposed to being praised by them!

It's not too late for him to do this and sincerely hope he will in the coming weeks.

Apart from that I'm at a loss.

Any ideas on what we can practically do are appreciated...

#2 Listen to music or meditate.
#3 Improve your mind by watching self help videos on YT such as cooking, car repair and any other interest you might have.
#4 Light reading such as . . I can't remember the name of it but it was something like The MonkeyWrench Gang. I don't remember much about it but a long time ago it seemed humorous.

There are things we can do: 1) realize nothing is happening outside of God’s plan, 2) that we cannot control what happens and 3) the majority of people are being deceived, cannot see the truth and will deny the truth to the end. But we can hold on to and trust God. We know it will only get worst to our humane eyes.

Just a suggestion but I think he needs to talk up his opposition to mandates MORE and contrast his position with the administration ...

Seriously, my advice to you is to walk away from ALL news and media, TV, internet, facebook, twitter, etc. (including Free Rebublic) for 24 hours and re-evaluate things.

Guess you haven’t been reading much over the holidays. Trump is pro vaccine if you want it and very much opposed to mandates. Given the legacy media’s blackout on all things Trump says you really have to look hard.

For me, the most disturbing, depressing and disgusting thing about this entire covid crap is how fast Americans caved to the utter b.s. It’s been shocking to watch. There was a time when the majority of Americans would stand together against this type of crap or any kind of ‘government’ infringement.

Every Republican I know has come out agaisnt mandates.

Most Republicans, including Rand Paul, Trump, and DeSantis are in favor of you getting a vaccine if you’re old or fat or otherwise at risk. (And haven’t picked up natural immunity.)

If you decide to stay unvaccinated and are “at risk”, then just hang tight and you might get a mild Omnicron and be fine in a day or two (but watch your pulseox!).

The whole thing will blow over eventually.

My two cents, that half of FR will oppose. :)

This has cost Trump dearly with conservatives. It’s obvious the vaxx does not work. It’s also obvious the vaxx has very serious, even deadly side effects. It’s also true that we have no idea how these side effects will play out over the next three years. The vaxx will be a millstone around Trump’s neck. Some Republican looking to run in ‘24 needs to call Trump out on this.
